Translation

When we work on a project, we’re happy to work with scripts and content provided by yourself, but if you require your content to be translated we can provide a number of solutions to meet your budget. From authenticated/licensed translators to freelance solutions managed by ourselves.

Even if you have translated scripts or other translators, we’ll work with you to prepare the scripts so they are fit for purpose (this is especially important for jobs where audio must be synchronized with a moving image or actions on screen, such as in a tutorial).

For websites, apps or software, we can either utilize engineers to go into your code, or simply work with excel or XML files provided by your own development teams.

With dubbing it is important to remember that often, if the source content is English, the new content will be 15-30% longer. This means that either the translation cannot be word for word (but instead aim to maintain meaning) or you will need to work with our video team to find a solution on the final output (perhaps slowing down the video, or freezing certain frames).

Text To Speech

If you need small amounts of spoken text, TTS is sometimes faster (and cheaper) to generate. We do not recommend it for long passages, text with product names, but for short generic messages such as Audio Description work, and for short and basic tutorial videos, it can be effective. Whilst the Synthetic Voice Overs can sound amazing, considering they are not human, they can easily become 'boring' when used on long passages or complext text.

Voice Audio Recording

AudioBooks, Commercials, eBooks, eLearning, Youtube Marketing, Cable TV, Tutorials, On-Hold Voice messages, and videogames. You name it, we’ve recorded it!

Audio recording falls into 2 main services: Synchronized recording/dubbing and Wild recording. We offer both services and are happy to advise which works best for your project, if you’re not sure.

We maintain an impressive database of Voice Over artists, encompassing both men and women, old and young. All artists are native speakers from the appropriate country or locale. We have people familiar with a variety of projects: technical reading, presenting, marketing, eLearning - and career actors ready for your needs.

Of course, we cover English audio too! UK (all nations), US, Canadian, Australian and any other dialects of English.

If you need us to dub an existing video we can do this with no problem. Script quality is paramount.

We can mix the new audio with any pre-existing music/sounds if the audio is provided to us, and even with the original voice audio if required (such as for a news broadcast).

For some productions such as Audiobooks or E-Books we can also provide sound effects and custom music.

Many projects require a final single audio file (with or without video), but we can also provide ‘segmented’ audio files. So if you would like us to record your content ‘wild’ but for eventual use on a video, we can segment the audio file into many cuts as required.

Post Production

Are you a film maker, or a small production company needing to outsource some post production work? Voxabot offers a full range of post production services such as audio editing and audio mixing, colour matching for video, final film edit, and the creation of suitable graphic titles and in film OST call outs. Subtitling

We can provide subtitling solutions in 2 main outputs:

• Standard SRT files. Other file formats are available upon request.
• A final burnt/rendered video file with the subtitles embedded into the video image

We understand that subtitles can be a matter of preference, so - before rendering - we can provide screenshots with font and background style for you to approve

On Screen Text (OST)

A picture may paint a thousand words, but some pictures still need words to support the message!

If you have a product that requires a video, to show it off, you might also have text flying around the screen to call out key components. If you have software videos or tutorial videos, the speaker’s message may need backing up with their key points as words on the screen.

Whether you need us to produce videos with complex On Screen Graphics, or to localise your videos with existing OST, we can do it quickly and accurately – and localized into any language.

eLearning

Voxabot also manages eLearning localization.

We can take your Storyline, Canvas, Captivate or other files. We index the assets and script, creating robust master documents. These can be translated by ourselves or your own solution. We can then swap out all text, re-record all voices, and update any videos. Our Tech team can then run functional QA, and check all compatibility issues.
